Strategic Reserve announcement was disappointing. No actual buying, but keeping seized Bitcoin as part of criminal or civil asset forfeiture proceedings.
This is still bullish Manuel. We know there won’t be a sell pressure on the asset from US Govt which is actually huge. I think they own a substantial amount and with Democratic Party in power we would have already seen them selling that bag
Not convinced the US Government will openly buy Bitcoin – it would be tantamount to admitting the dollar will diminish in value indefinitely. I think that is why other crypto currencies were included. Maybe the Bitcoin element will consist of confiscated assets? I would be interested to hear a different take on this.
Thanks for this. I think it’s interesting to see what’s going to happen with the price as it’s nicely correlated with M2 + 76 days supply – which would suggest strong bullish scenario.
